Each voyage will visit Humpback Whale feeding grounds, sea otter rookeries, sea lion haul-outs, seabird nesting sites, and Bald Eagle eyries.

Cross Sound presents us with close-up views of a variety of nesting sea bird colonies. The whales are plentiful, sea otters comical, and the sea lions loud and inquizative.

We will fish some almost every day. However, our emphasis is on experiencing the abundant wildlife and incredible scenery. You will be mesmorized by the musical breeding songs of the thrushes and songbirds as they fill the dense green forest with life!!

Voyages will begin at either Hoonah or Elfin Cove. Both are serviced by small airline companies. It is a treat to fly in to Elfin Cove since it has only float plane service. You may access more information on the website.

You must take a seaplane to get to "the Cove." It features beautiful islands and anchorages to kayak about. Also, one of the largest concentrations of Humpback whales in Alaska. Other wildlife (bears, sea-lions, & porpoise) will tantalize us too.
